Medical Triage requests will be triaged within 1 working day starting the working day after submission. Administration Triage requests will be triaged within 3 working days starting the working day after submission. You will be contacted if an appointment is deemed necessary after the request has been triaged. By continuing with this process, you are consenting to be referred to the most appropriate clinician or service and Surgery nominated time, if applicable. Please ensure that you are AVAILABLE to come into the Surgery on the day of your request if we need you to. Urgent/Acute medical requests will require an on-the-day appointment, if you are not available at the time requested by us you will be pathway to NHS111 / nearest Walk-In Centre and your Medical Triage request closed. Urgent/Acute Medical Triage requests must be dealt with same day. In situations where we have no on-the-day (Acute) appointments available you will be referred to NHS111 / Walk-In centre (and your Medical Triage request closed). Please note we are unable to provide medical advice/guidance to patients who are abroad (seek local medical guidance).
