For a GP appointment requests, a GP will review your online submission and get back to you on the same day for those assessed as urgent by the GP or by the end of the next working day via NHS app, text, email or phone call. This could be with advice that we have received your submission and when it will be reviewed, or when to book an appointment or they will direct you to the most suitable service/person that they feel will assist with your clinical query. For Admin queries we aim to respond by the end of the next working day. Please note upon submission the GP may text you a response. The NHS has default text messages to be sent to the NHS App first and if not read within 60 minutes it will then send you a text to your mobile number. Please ensure you have notifications switched on for the NHS App, and / or check your NHS App messages throughout the day to check for a probable response to your online consultation so you know what advice the GP has recommended for your query.
