Most viral illnesses get better by themselves and we do not have capacity to see all viral illnesses. Seeing you within the first few days (unless you're very seriously unwell) will not be helpful. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/respiratory-tract-infection/ Online requests will be read within one WORKING day. Please only submit ROUTINE requests. Do not submit more than ONE routine request. If you submit an online request after 4:30/5pm it is unlikely to be looked at until the next day and unlikely to get a same day appointment.
