What would you like help with?
• Submit early in the day: Please send queries as early as possible so we can safely manage your problem. We cannot always accommodate all requests for same day appointments depending on demand. While we do provide morning, afternoon and evening appointments, submissions after 12pm will need to be reviewed by the on-call doctor and if no appointments are available in the surgery, you will be signposted to alternative services. Submitting earlier helps us provide the most appropriate and timely care. If you feel that your query is urgent, please contact reception to flag this as such. We cannot always accommodate urgent care requests and may direct you to other services if needed. Urgent Treatment Centres and 111 are available at all times for the very reason that GP surgeries cannot always accommodate all appointment requests on any given day. • When your query will be read: Every effort will be made to review your query on the same day it is submitted. However, if you believe your problem is an emergency then you must flag this to emergency services i.e. 999 or at least contact Reception for advice. Reception staff cannot directly book appointment requests over the phone or at the front desk. - If urgent, we aim to respond on the same day. - If routine, it will be managed within 72 working hours. - Our opening hours: Monday–Friday, 08:30–18:30 (forms can also be submitted between 06:30–08:30 for your convenience). - Please avoid duplicates: Do not resubmit the same query within 72 hours, as this blocks access for other patients. Please also avoid chasing reception unless your problem has clearly become more urgent since submission. • If your problem has escalated to urgent: Call reception immediately. Urgent problems cannot be managed via the online form. • Before submitting: Check our Self-Referral options (e.g. mental health, weight management, physiotherapy, antenatal care, sexual health, family planning). • Pharmacy First service: For certain conditions, we may refer you to the Pharmacy First prescribing service after triage. • If you need urgent help: - Call your GP practice directly. - If the practice is closed, use NHS 111 online or call 111. - In an emergency, call 999.
If you need more urgent help, call your GP practice. If it's closed, visit NHS 111 online or call 111. In an emergency call 999
