Your none urgent request will be reviewed and responded to by a member of the team on the same working day. You may receive advice by phone, text, or be directed to another service if appropriate. Available at your local Pharmacy the Pharmacy First scheme - The pharmacist can treat sinusitis, sore throat, infected insect bites, impetigo ,shingles, uncomplicated urinary tract infections in women 16 -64 years old, earache in children 1 -17yrs old. Your Local Pharmacy also offers: NHS blood pressure checks to people aged 40 and over, NHS Contraception service You may be able to get the contraceptive pill from a pharmacy if you need to: start the contraceptive pill for the first time or take the contraceptive pill again after a break from using it. Flu vaccine if you are over 65 or in at risk group. If we are at full capacity you may be signposted to the 111 service or advised to go to an urgent care centre. If you need urgent help for your mental health - Get help from calling 111 select the mental health option.
